Insomnia - Sparkling Silence

A volume of gentle light from lamps, one after another in a row

The light of a lamp shining brightly in the silence of the night warms the heart. I painted this gentle and dependable light in watercolor. The blotting and blurring characteristic of analog painting materials are perfect for depicting the beauty of coincidence, like a momentary flash of light. The addition of color to each of the lamps also allows the viewer to enjoy the chic tones of the lamps without monotony.

Note: Washi tape varies by stickiness. This is on the lighter-sticky side.
