Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means customers have 14 days after the marked delivery date to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that it was received in, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Customer will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If the return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send the package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Customers will be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise notified. Refund of shipping costs is at the discretion of The Cozy Journal and is dependent on the circumstances for the return.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like items marked final sale, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

We cannot accept returns on sale items, holiday items, closeouts, or gift cards.

Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Therefore we offer a 14 day exchange from marked delivery date. Items must be sent back in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Return shipping costs for "change of mind" is the responsibility of the customer. Return shipping costs for damaged or wrong products will be paid by The Cozy Journal. In these cases, we will send you a shipping label to use when returning the product.

Refunds
We will notify the customer once we’ve received and inspected the return, and let the customer know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, the customer will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for the bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at admin@thecozyjournalonline.com.

Lost packages:
All packages include tracking.

Once a package is marked delivered by USPS or UPS, it is considered delivered by The Cozy Journal and the shipping companies. We are unable to provide refunds or replacements for lost or stolen packages once delivered. The shipping companies will not accept claims from us after the package has reached the listed address. If your package is marked "delivered" but you do not have it, we recommend contacting your local post office or UPS store for assistance.
